9579 BCE - the groundwork for the first Shadowpact is lain by 254-year-old Atlan when he beings awakening the Lords of Chaos & Order.
9563 BCE - 270-year-old Atlan contacts 1,238-year-old Nommo Balewa to assist in creating the first Shadowpact to save the world. He refuses, not wanting to assist Atlantis, the one city in the world to rival the might of Kor, but ultimately understands the stakes.
9518 BCE - the first Shadowpact is forged by Atlan He is assisted by Nommo Balewa, who is stripped of much of his magical power, & Jebediah, who uses the Rock of Eternity to absorb the ambient magic threatening to destroy the world, and first becomes Shazam. Atlantis becomes a refuge for the Homo Magi trapped on Earth. The city is sunk in the aftermath, it's people alerted to become sea-dwellers. Atlan himself is sealed within the Paths Beyond. 1943 - The Third Shadowpact forms when John Sargent predicts the Nazi's attempt to reopen Morgan Le Fay's Hellfonts. He attracts the attention of the Phantom Stranger, who, with Madame Xanadu's help, summon Kent Nelson & Jim Corrigan. Sargon is immolated, but they are successful. 15 years ago - The Fourth Shadowpact occurrs when an apocalypse cult attempts to reopen the Nazi Hellfonts closed during the Third. They kidnap 14-year-old Kay Challis as their sacrifice, inadvertantly making her a nexus of chaos energy. In the seance to stop them, Meihui Lan sacrifices her life and is immolated. Zatanna nearly follows her but her father Zatara intervenes and gives himself in her place. She is finally able to gain control with the help of Mark Bloodwynd, who begins working with the them. The Shadowpact & the Justice League confront 38-year-old Jean Loring, the new host of Eclipso, as she tries to escape Earth, seperating her from the Heart of Darkness and casting it into the Paths Beyond. The Shadowpact & the Watchtower go into the afterlife to find Jim Corrigan to restore him as the Spectre.
