109-year-old Teth-Adam discovers the Reach Scarab.  He is unable to unlock it's power as Black Adam, but when he returns to his mortal form, the scarab overwhelms him to try to steal his magic, killing him.  His people entomb him with honors. With his death, the 7589-year-old Wizard Shazam loses the Power of Shazam.
