The Third Shadowpact forms when 27-year-old John Sargent predicts the nazi's attempt to reopen Morgan Le Fay's Hellfonts. He attracts the attention of the Phantom Stranger, who, with Madame Xanadu's help, summon 35-year-old Kent Nelson, 39-year-old Jim Corrigan, 44-year-old Richard Occult, & 44-year-old Rose Psychic. Sargon is immolated, but they are successful.
Morgaine Le Fay breaks free of the Paths Beyond during the 3rd Shadowpact, but has lost all her power
37-year-old Gerald Shugel captures 26-year-old american film actress Delores Winters. She is saved by 33-year-old Alan Armstrong, who is unaware that the Ultra-Humanite has placed his brain in her body.
32-year-old Queen Clea find a way to steal the Trident of Posiedon. She begins attacking Naval vessels, enslaving soldiers and building her own army to assault Atlantis. 31-year-old Hippolyta is able to stop her along with the Justice Society. Clea dies, & the entire Atlantean nation of Venturia is lost, along with the Trident of Posiedon.
The Freedom Fighters are led by 45-year-old Paul Kirk through northern Africa as they race 47-year-old Helmut Streicher in pursuit of the Ark of the Covenant.
28-year-old Wilhelm Reiter, the only survivor of the Siege Perilous experiments, is subjected to its energy and given vast powers he can wield individually. He is deployed on the battlefront as Baron Blitzkrieg.
24-year-old Sandra Knight and 43-year-old Iron Munro begin their romance as they serve together on the Freedom Fighters.
Solomon Grundy, still a statue, is treated with concentrated chlorophyll by a scientist. He is resurrected again and goes after 44-year-old Alan Scott. With the help of the entire Justice Society, Grundy is burried so deep into Slaughter Swamp that they believe he'll never escape.
